Technology and Innovation Consulting
Capitol Advisors Group is expanding service by adding Technology and Innovation Consulting to our portfolio of offerings with Digital Advisors.

A district’s first instinct to address technology capacity in these areas should be though your Chief Technology Officer or Chief Innovation Officer. And an essential resource for schools is California IT in Education (CITE), an organization that fosters professional support among colleagues across the state.  Our efforts are aimed at supporting the work of your IT and innovation team and the district/COE leadership for those LEAs that have limited staff resources.
This effort is led by Tim Watrous, formerly with Cisco Systems, and a team of world-class technology and business experts that come from global high-tech industry firms, public education, and other government sectors. With this team and the extended network of industry professionals, Digital Advisors has the knowledge and expertise to advise a school district’s team regarding best practices around high-stakes technology projects and initiatives.
This service is also designed to support IT directors embarking on technology transformations by providing an objective third-party evaluation with independent expertise. Digital Advisors can help a districts IT team validate conclusions or troubleshoot, trouble-shoot problems, and ultimately help build stakeholder and board confidence in a project or initiative.

In addition, Digital Advisors works closely with bond districts who are looking to make astute decisions with their bond dollars earmarked for technology upgrades.

The team of Digital Advisors Consultants have the following expertise:
  • Digital Transformation
  • Distance Learning
  • Supporting Remote Staff/Students
  • Technology Bond Planning and Support
  • Network Infrastructure
  • IT Resource Planning and Operations
  • Innovation and Change Management
  • Voice, Video and Web Communications
  • Cyber Security
  • Data science
  • Digital Architectures: Cabling, Wireless, Data Center, Business Continuity
  • Staff and Student Safety
  • Cloud and Applications
