CodeChek is Capitol Advisors' Group service which enables school agencies to demonstrate compliance with the statutory requirements of the state’s Mandate Block Grant (MBG). With receipt of MBG funds contingent on compliance, we designed CodeChek to address the district’s needs in the event of an audit under this new process. Our service will position districts to produce the relevant records and demonstrations of statutory compliance, and not simply records of expense and time spent. This will keep our clients ahead of those that retain traditional mandated cost claiming practices.
We do recognize that some programs remain outside of the MBG and CodeChek will assist the district in securing reimbursement for those mandates under the traditional claim filing process. Additionally CodeChek helps the district prepare for future filings for any “test claims” filed with the Commission on State Mandates. Our team has the experience and expertise to quickly and accurately assess these programs and advise and assist the district in pursuing these remaining, and future, reimbursements.
